Perfect location in heart of tourist activity. Many shops, attractions and restaurants within walking distance. Although busy during the day, night time noise not a problem.
Pillow top bed was wonderful and room very clean. Staff friendly and very helpful, welcoming to our German Shepherd dog. Internet service excellent, free breakfast more than adequate.
If you are staying with pet, porch outside rooms on pet wing allow animal to sit outside contained, convenient extension of space.
Enjoyed sitting on porch watching people experience the charm of Gettysburg. Will definitely stay again. Can't think of anything negative to say about this hotel, have stayed here numerous times in past 3 years while son attending college.

My 60lb Rottweiler and I spent two nights here. The staff was welcoming, warm and sincere. The price was excellent, and I will stay there again. They were located near all. The breakfast is cheap, but for free it worth the price!

Room Tip: Make sure you tell them you have a dog when you book so they give you a do friendly room.

Girlfriend and I stayed here last weekend. We were a bit skeptical; but I got the room for free and it was only one night, so we figured we'd give it a go. The location couldn't be more ideal. Walking distance to pretty much any place you'd need to go in Gettysburg, especially restaurants and night attractions. The room was updated and clean; much better than what i expected from a Travelodge. Would certainly stay again.

The hotel was clean and comfortable and the price included one of those basic breakfasts which was good to get one started on the sightseeing. The hotel has discount coupons for the restuarant next door but the food was not great there. We ate at the historic tavern another night and could barely read the menu in the dark interior and the food is expensive, even in the downstairs bar which serves soup and burgers. Even though it rained for the two days we were there, it's great be able to drive around the historic sites and take refuge in the visitor centre, where the museums, film and food is to be recommended.

I expected less frills but our room had a fridge and microwave, plus a full hot breakfast. Everything well kept and clean.

I was a bit nervous about this place but booked it anyway due to the spectacular deal on travelocity, 2 nights for around 140$. I was quite surprised when we rolled up to a quaint little place nestled in the heart of Gettysburg, literally right around the corner from the battlefields and the cemetary. Our room faced the main strip and we had a cute little front porch to sit on to people watch. The room was nice and clean, nothing super fancy but everything appeared brand new. The bed was comfy and the sheets and blanket smelled CLEAN. The white towels were also brand new with a hint of a clean bleachy smell which I loved! This was a huge plus for me as I am germ phobe!! Bleach =clean!! Yay. Good continental breakfast with fruits, yogurt, mini muffins, english muffins, bisciuts, hard boiled eggs, oatmeal and cereal! Staff very friendly! Ample parking! Why stay anywhere else!
