We visited on a misty day when we told the mist could be likened to the gun smoke prevalent during the battle so the experience was heightened some what. Incredible to stand in places that are remarkably similar to what was there during the actual battle.

Really good preserved history in the whole battle area! There are walking - hiking paths, auto tours with parking spots by every monument on the route. As well as bus tours with certified guides.

Have heard so much about Little Round top and to actually get to be there was awesome. How they fought this battle you can see why there were so many lives lost. Amazing place.

My wife and I were here from 8 pm to 9 pm. It was a beautiful evening looking down at the other battlefields from Little Round Top. This union victory based on guts, daring and raw courage saved the Union line from collapsing, and any chance of Southern victory. The courage of Chamberlain and his men saved the battle as a Union Victory, and thus Union victory in the Civil War. We sat on the big rocks looking down where the CSA was charging up the hill, and thought of the horror and courage of that day. Then just at sunset a bugler present played Taps. It was eerie, but beautiful.
