Owner description: Featuring The area's only complete wax collection of American Presidents and their first ladies as well as a beautiful gift shop. The Hall of Presidents is located across the street from the Gettysburg Tour Center and next to the main entrance of the National Cemetery. It is incredible to be able to see what our Presidents really looked like and to hear the words attributed to them as if the words came from the very lips of the figures themselves. The Hall of First Ladies present authentic 1/3 size reproductions of the First Ladies in their inaugural gowns.

Loved this wax museum. Watching the different styles was the best part. My foster daughter learned so much from this museum that she didn't know.

We were very excited to see a museum about the Presidents. Instead we were given a number of wax figures that looked nothing like the actual Presidents. The section featuring their wives was somewhat interesting, as the outfits were quite extravagant. The wax figures again did not match the features of the real thing. Even the gift shop was disappointing, not much there.

We have been to Gettysburg every year for the past ten and we've walked past this place constantly. I decided I wanted to check it out, thinking maybe it would be the caliber of a Disney attraction. LOL. The wax figures are terrible. It didn't matter if a President was 6'2" or 5'4", all the figures are the same height. While a few of the faces were okay, most were done terribly. JFK looks about as far from handsome as you could get, as just one example. You move with your group from room to room and sit down. Each room has about 8 figures and a spotlight goes on and the President gives a little talk. Most of the talks were inane. We didn't even bother going to look at the first ladies. I heard they are miniature figures and not life size. We just wanted to get on with our day since there are so many other great things to see and do. We had heard in the past several years that this attraction was closing, so we don't know if this is the last summer for it or if something fell through and it's staying - Ugh! Anything would be better in place of this. There are no bathroom facilities either. You must cross the road and go into one of the establishments over there.

Don't even bother with this place. Hasn't been updated since 1950-something and the wax figures are CREEPY. The wax figures don't look that much like the presidents they are portraying and they are overkill on air fresheners in that place. Probably to get the old musty smell from getting too strong. The first ladies' hall is just a bunch of large dolls in dresses.

Our 11 year old daugter LOVES presidential and First Lady history and we had a great time here. The wax figures of the presidents are interesting and each one gives a brief summary of their presidency. The Ladies are actually large dolls in period clothing. Great place to spend a couple of hours.
