This place is very nice and a fitting complement to the spectacular battlefield. Buying tickets was a smooth process and the cashier offered and explained the options. In addition, park rangers were available to help tourists make the right decisions to see the battlefield in the best way for each family. We bought an auto tour CD set and were in and out of the gift shop in no time. After we toured the battlefield for four or five hours, it felt great to come back into the cool center and see the movie. Morgan Freeman's voice is so soothing, and the film explains the battle very concisely. The cyclorama is not something that can be explained -- you just have to go and see it. It's absolutely incredible. The girl who was working up there was knowledgeable and able to answer our questions. The museum is impressive, and even though we were tired after about 6 hours at the battlefield, we stayed in the museum for quite awhile. Finally, while the gift shop certainly offers the usual cheesy, overpriced tourist stuff, they also offer a good selection of books and other, more useful souvenirs. The whole place is just well done.
