Greg and Linda are incredibly gracious hosts. We asked for a few extras and Greg delivered immediately. The Annie Danner suite was perfect for a romantic getaway - warm and cozy with almost a full kitchen (and we used it! prepared our Thanksgiving feast here!) nicely stocked with everything we needed. The front windows look out on the the town square and we have a beautiful view of the Christmas tree in the center all lit up. The bed is comfortable, but firm. If you like something softer maybe ask for a different suite. It was fine for us. Plenty of pillows and fresh towels, a nice flat panel TV and a reading nook round out the suite. One thing that isn't clear from the website is that the shower is not in a separate room. A folding screen is provided to offer some privacy, but if you are looking for a traditional bathroom try one of their other beautiful suites. Greg showed us the other two on the first and second floor and they are just as lovely and have separate sleeping, living and bathroom areas. The Annie Danner on the third floor is like a little love nest and it was perfect for us. We will be back!
Thank you for helping us plan our 10-year wedding anniversary party/reunion and we look forward to seeing you next time!

Room Tip: Go for the first or second floor suites or the townhomes if you want a more traditional room setup...

My wife and I thoroughly enjoy our recent weekend stay at the Inn at Lincoln Square. From the moment we arrived Greg made us feel welcomed and he certainly was very accommondating. The first floor suite was fantastic!! The fresh fruit and muffins were a great touch. We'll be back in 2012.

We loved the Inn at Lincoln Square! They provide first class accomodations and service. We didn't want to go home!

Room Tip: The Irene suite had the perfect view of the square.

Our visit to The Inn at Lincoln Square is one of the most charming and comfortable stays I've had in a long time. The inn has been refurbished and beautifully decorated in period style and perfectly complements and enhances a visit to the historical town of Gettysburg. The rooms are spacious, very well equipped (ours had a discreet and marvellously-planned little 'kitchen' area, tucked away behind panelled doors) and are lined with period cupboards and shelves and wainscotting, all of which enhance the feel of the place. Greg, our host, provided a warm and flexible welcome (we arrived considerably later than anticipated), and as well as giving us great advice on drinking/dining venues, also brought the history alive with, amongst a lot of other information (he is obviously well-versed in this period), tales of the confederate troops sweeping through the town, etc., which for me sparked a fascination in the Civil War (I am British & had never really learned much about this conflict). He is a knowledgable and welcoming host - with a great sense of humor!
I was only sorry we weren't staying longer, and we will most certainly return. We highly recommend this beautiful inn to anyone looking for comfort, luxury, peace & quiet, tradition and authenticity.

This was our first time to Gettysburg, along with belated birthday celebrations for the three of us. The Eva Danner Townhouse was just what we needed to be together. We, and our adult daughter, treasured having a place to relax within our personal time frames. Comfortable bedrooms, washer/dryer, kitchen and living room...we had it all. LARGE gift baskets of fresh fruit and muffins were greatly appreciated! Greg also made our visit a 5 star by enthusiastically providing information about the Inn, the attractions to see, and restaurant suggestions. Along with his willingness to do anything to make our stay one to remember, Greg's delightful personality is an added bonus! Future visits to Gettysburg, would definitely include the Inn at Lincoln Square!

WE LOVED THE INN! The Inn at Lincoln Square was by far our favorite of the 4-5 star hotels/inns we stayed at during our East coast vacation. In addition to the spacious living, bed, and bath rooms, there was sufficient space for dining and entertaining. The best part was our host, Greg. He immediately made us feel comfortable, and treated us as though we were family. He is a knowledgeable historian and was most helpful in making good recommendations for touring and dining. I have already recommended the Inn at Lincoln Square to friends and family as the place to stay in Gettysburg.

Linda and Greg,
I can not begin to ever express how much we love coming to your place. The warmth, compassion, hospitality, and sincerity are just the icing on the cake when we stay there. The Inn is absolutley our favorite place to stay when we visit Gettysburg, our "calgon".. We have been coming to Gettysburg for 7 yrs, and have never experienced anything quite like your place.. it actually brought a tear to my eye when we were leaving.. we feel , kinda spoiled.. (lol) Gettysburg is amazing in itself, but when we stay at the Inn at Lincoln Square, we feel like a part of the town, the families, and the traditions. We cant wait to spend New Years with you again!! Love Jay and Taryn, Audubon NJ

Room Tip: They are all beautiful, spacious, accomodating and warm..
