We celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary in Gettysburg and stayed 4 nights at the Lincoln Inn in the first floor suite. Staying in something as historic as the Lincoln Inn on the 149th anniversary of the Civil War was important to us and it certainly lived up to our expectations. In arranging for our stay, we contacted Greg about 3 months prior and he provided us information and answered our questions via email and phone within a short time frame. It seems he was always available. Perhaps he is one of the ghosts that have taken up residence in the city of Gettysburg. Both Greg and Jeanine are warm and friendly and made us feel welcomed and appreciated. They are awesome hosts. By the way, the delicious fruit basket and muffins were delicious.

This was our first time in Gettysburg. As a retired US Army officer and Army wife, visiting Gettysburg is awe inspiring. The amount of history we encountered on the battlefield, the visitors center, the city streets and the reenactments made this a truly memorable vacation. If you come to Gettysburg, choose to stay at the Lincoln Inn. That is, if it's available.

Room Tip: All three suites are well appointed (one on each floor) and each offer something for everyone.

We stayed one night at the Inn at Lincoln Square while visiting Gettysburg and recommend it without reservation. Greg arranged for a guide (John Zervas - who was fantastic) to tour us around the battlefield on the morning before we checked in and our spacious room was ready on our return and we were welcomed by Jeanine. The location is right in the heart of the town and an easy walk to museums and restaurants. Our room on the second floor was huge with a comfortable bed, lots of sitting areas, and overlooked the square (right above the modern statue of Abraham Lincoln). We enjoyed the fruit and delicious muffins for breakfast with coffee from a Keurig coffeemaker made right in the small kitchenette in the room. You really need more than one day in Gettysburg and we will be staying here again when we come back.

This was the perfect place to stay for a romantic weekend away. So convenient to all there is to do in the center of town. The suggestions made to us were a great help for us when deciding where to eat. Our room was so clean and cozy. Couldn't have asked for more....We will visit again.

My visit to Gettysburg on Memorial weekend was amazing for this history majpr. As a southerner the battle had been glossed over for obvious reasons so there was a lot to take in. The Inn at Lincoln Square made the trip perfect. We were there on the busy square which explained why the Confederates wanted it, right next to Lincoln. The rooms were great for us 5, perfect for busy days and snacking inbetween excursions. The staff could not have been more acomodting. They helped us find places to eat and got us the best guide ever! The place is a must for all Americans and the Inn at Lincoln Square is the must place to stay.

Room Tip: Patio for early am coffee is a must.

Inn at Lincoln Square is an amazing bed and breakfast. It is beautiful, clean and authentic. The location is incredible,
It couldn't be better! I was so impressed with the warm atmosphere. The Inn keeper was so welcoming and ready to help. My family of 6 fit comfortably in the town house and everyone had a great time. I would recommend it to anyone!

I recently spent five nights at the Inn at Lincoln Square, and I couldn't have been more pleased with my accomodations. From beginning to end, friendliness and helpfulness were supplied by Greg and Jeannine. My room was extemely immaculate, comfortable, and spacious. It's like being at home, only better because you are pampered by your hosts! The mini kitchen was wonderful with the bountiful bowls of fresh fruit and muffins and the deluxe coffee/tea maker. Stepping out the door of the inn, there are historic sites like the Wills House, shops such as Gallery 30, and restaurants (I recommend the Blue Parrot). If you like to have the best of everything, this is the place to stay in Gettysburg!
