Description: With a focus on simple ingredients, Chef Annis’ menu features small, elegant bites with sophisticated flavor. The menu, inspired by fresh, local ingredients, will change on a daily basis and has been designed to include a variety of small plates rather than the multi-course offerings of sister establishment, Restaurant Sidney in East Berlin. An extensive selection of liquor, beer, wine and cordials invites guests to relax in an urban contemporary atmosphere. The expansive outdoor seating area offers a serene experience with views of the battlefield land preserved by the National Park Service.

“Excellent Food and Not as Pricey as I thought it would be”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 August 2014

We had 2 cocktails each, one 'plate to share', one 'small plate' and one 'large plate' - great food, beautifully presented, very courteous service (could have been a little more organized, but fairly polished nonetheless), left very full and happy and the bill (with tax but before tip) was $87. Would have like to share a dessert but had no room! Very pretty setting - we ate outdoors on a lovely summer evening.

“Foodie's delight in lovely atmosphere.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 July 2014

First, our server Beth was excellent- present and friendly, but not obsequious or intrusive.

Local farm to table idea, with a selection of small, medium and large plates. We had five different items, and four of the five were hits with both of us. The spinach salad was about the best I've ever had. We also had two cocktails that were very skillfully executed.

Eat outside. The palce was a country club, and the pleasure of a summer evening overlooking the beautiful plantings and broad green sweep of the former links was enthralling.

I haven't ever eaten this well in thirty years of visiting Gettysburg.

“So looking forward, so disappointed”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 July 2014

We were truly looking forward to an anniversary dinner at what appeared to be a fine dining restaurant. When we walked in, I was fully convinced we were at the wrong location. The host was unorganized and the building appeared to be a wedding reception hall type place. The seating was very odd and they sat people either in a ballroom type setting or on the patio. We sat on the patio. After waiting 20 minutes to see a menu, we finally got our order underway. With all of the history and things to see in Gettysburg, skip this place and enjoy fine dining elsewhere.

“As impressive as told”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 July 2014

The food varies every couple weeks but is unique while still universal enough for the palate. Great service (thanks, Megan), complimentary this and that, and outdoors seating is great in the summer. Indoor atmosphere is good, if not great: dining room and bar dining area at what used to be Gettysburg Golf Club.

“Delicious Food off the Tourist Path”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 July 2014

A friend and I recently went to this restaurant for lunch based on Trip ADvisor reviews, and we were not disappointed. The restaurant occupies the space of the former Gettysburg Country Club. Evidently, the country club has closed and the property is split between this restaurant, a day spa, and a swim and racket club. The waitress was extremely friendly and very knowledgable about the menu and preparations. I elected to have a hamburger, and the meat was exceptional. Tehre are many topping choices that include gourmet cheeses, hummus, kimchi - so one can really get into having a gourmet burger. The curly fries were also out of this world - made fresh. All food is prepared farm fresh (so it is more or less farm to table). Prices re very reasonable. The one criticism is that the restaurant is occupying a very small portion of what was the main building of the former country club. Therefore, the dining experience feels as if the restaurant is operating in a space that is about to close or is still under construction (although there is no construction going on). While the building and dining areas are pleasant and clean, and outdoor dining offers a view of beautiful grasslands (that must have been part of the golf course at one time), it is a sterile atmosphere. There is no charm or character to the space, and that is something that a tourist expects on a trip to Gettysburg. I do believe the new owner is looking to transform the space and is in collaboration with the new owners of the property. Give it a whirl for food, and the service, but if you are looking for a charming atmosphere, pick a place that is closer to the center of the historic district.
