“Nice downtown surprise”
Reviewed 11 August 2014

It is located ON THE SQUARE! Great location and you can eat outside, literally on the square or, as we preferred, in the nice cool a/c inside. The menu was quite large and covered everything from full dinner entrées to burgers, pizza, sandwiches, etc. The bar had a huge variety of draft and bottled beer. The staff was excellent and the crab dip was fantastic. All the portions were large.
The only downer here is parking is tough in this area, so plan to arrive early.

“great restaurant in the square”
Reviewed 11 August 2014

had a great outdoor lunch here on friday august 8th. waited and was lucky enough to score an outdoor table. there were 5 of us and we were hungry. we ordered some appys, a kids meal and 4 entrees and everything was very good nice portion sizes prices were reasonable and had the great brownie sundae for dessert. bathrooms are upstairs so might be hard for some people .they must have restrooms downstairs too, just didn't see them . staff are super friendly and our waitress was great, wish i knew her name!!! try to get a table outside if you can , they are seat yourself and first come first serve but on a nice day it is really super.

“Good food, friendly atmosphere”

Nice pub atmosphere and good food in the main square of Gettysburg. Varied menu selections, all was tasty. I had salmon, husband had steak sandwich, kids pasta. All good, not memorable or gourmet though.

“Great food”
Reviewed 10 August 2014

The food was delicious and generous amounts, alcoholic drinks were made perfectly. Dessert was decadent, waiter was charming and handsome, loved sitting outside and watching the world go by. Would return again next time I'm in the area.

“Great location, great food, great service”
Reviewed 10 August 2014

Really in this town there is only one place to have a snack on a hot August afternoon! And it's here. We stopped for lunch and shared the Cobb salad and a Reuben sandwich. Salad was amazing, and thankfully not a piece of iceberg lettuce in sight. It was good. And give yourself a special treat and get a pitcher of the Pubs Sangria brew, we had the red and it was an amazing drink. Service was top notch and judging by how full the place was its popular with locals too. When I'm back ill definitely eat here.
