Pretty good. The price was good for what we got. Service was nice and the servings were generous. Could use a little bit more atmosphere but overall it was pretty good

“Mel's diner from the Alice series...”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 March 2014

Remember Mel's diner from the 1970s series "Alice"? This is along those lines. Nothing fancy, the waitress called me "honey" even though I was at least 30 years older, and the decor was complete kitsch. It walks the line and just barely escapes being unpleasant, but, strangely, that is part of this diner's charm. I had a grilled cheese sandwich with tomato, onion rings and coffee, not my usual fare, but good diner food. It was delicious and so cheap, it made me even happier than when we walked in. It was a good, quick, cheap lunch with nice people waiting on us.

“It's a Diner”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 February 2014

To be honest we ended up here because every other restaurant in a 10 mile radius had a 1-2 hour wait. However, my husband and I had fun; it's a diner. Is the food quality the greatest in the world? No. It was still tasty and we enjoyed our meal. The gravy on my turkey sandwich was the brightest yellow I ever seen but it tasted like diner food! The floor was kind of dirty but the service was friendly. If you don't have reservations anywhere and are in a pinch this place will suit just fine.

“Good, cheap diner food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 February 2014 via mobile

Went for a late dinner and breakfast on a weekend trip. The diner is open 24/7, which was handy when we were looking for a place to eat at 11pm. For dinner, we paid $14 for a tuna sandwich and cheeseburger. The tuna was great, the burger was overcooked. Breakfast was fine - got coffee, toast, and eggs for $4....you can't beat that!

Overall, standard diner food. Both visits were quick visits and cheap....just what we wanted!
