A trip to Gettysburg is not a trip to Gettysburg without stopping in to Hunt's. The fries are the Best in the World! In fact, all of the food is delicious, even the ice cream is wonderful. Scott and Donna, the owners, are Awesome!! I can't wait to go back!

“Fresh and tasty!”
Reviewed 7 November 2013

We visited Hunt's Battlefield Fries and Cafe in May. The food was delicious and fresh. The fries and cheese steaks were very tasty. It was worth the wait, all their food is freshly made.

“Great Place”
Reviewed 4 November 2013

It is an unusual setting for a restaurant. When you walk in, the tables are in the middle of the room, and you seat yourself. The atmosphere is like a tourist stop, ice cream shop and a coffee cafe. There are souveniers hanging everywhere, soda pop in the coolers, an ice cream freezer all wrapped up in the same room. The food was good and I would recommend getting an order of French Fries - come with a big appetite for those! Huge portions! If you are looking for a dining experience outside of the chain restaurants, this is one place to go.

“So wacky so just have to check it out”
Reviewed 1 November 2013

I'm not sure how to describe the place except to say that when you walk in you take a step back in time. You feel like you're visiting an old, rustic diner that's a cross between a 50's diner and a wild west bar. The place is covered...and I mean covered...in old school posters, pictures and the like; giving you much to look at while you wait to grab a table or seat at the counter. Definitely worth stopping in...if not to eat then to choose something sweet from the interesting array of old school (and current) candies.
