Made our second trip to hunts and the cheese steaks and fries are just as good as I remember and the most friendly staff and owners you could ask for they were very busy and still got everything done fast and perfect and had time to chat with them when we were done very friendly people and great food what more can ya ask for.

You have your pick of different meats, sauces and toppings for the cheese steak sandwiches and all of the ones we had were delicious! It's named after it's fries, and while not different from many other fries, they were good and plentiful!

our Poastor and 5 of us board members visted Gettysburg in June of 2013.the whole history and bus tour was great."BUT" the highlight of this trip was going to hunts battlefied fries and cafe.their chesse steak sandwiches is to die for.every time I think of them I get "goose" bumps.I'd go the 290 miles from canton, ohio to go there in Gettysburg just for this sandwich
Sincerly,

After reading all the great reviews, we decided to stop in for lunch. We were rather disappointed. The fries were good, but the rest of the food was average, and rather mediocre. We did enjoy the large variety of sodas to choose from. The waitress was very friendly, but service was slow. Not her fault though, she was the only one serving all the tables. Gave it a try, but I don't think we will be back again on our next trip.

We stopped here for lunch while visiting Gettysburg. Would have missed it if we hadn't been looking for it. Lunch was great, kids ate their fill. Will visit again.
