Cupola was a bit pricey, but I get it. Going through the rooms was neat to explore the trials and tribulations beginning that fateful July morning. Gift shop should have more unique items available which are exclusive to the seminary, and if they did, they weren't clearly marketable/visible. Did not walk the property much. a map would have been nice to understand the where and what, but we could not locate one. Will visit again, likely not the cupola though. Been there, done that.

The folks who thought this idea of making this into the museum were spot on. the time and talent to have utilized this location to tell the Gettysburg Civil War History is phenomenal! A must do to add to your list...

We were in Gettysburg for a family celebration, and as this was our 8th visit we hadn't planned on doing any of the battlefield things. The inn manager at our B & B suggested we visit the Seminary Ridge museum, and we are grateful she did. It was an incredibly moving experience. Allow about an hour and a half, start with the 2 minute film on the first floor, go to the fourth floor and take the time watch rhe movies and to really look at the displays. You really get the sense of what families and the community went through. it doesn't focus on the strategies and tactics of the battle, but on what soldiers and the town went through. Worth every penny and minute!!!
