Great hotel, friendly helpful staff, restaurant was very good and the food was prepared how I ordered it. Great location and easy to locate. I would highly recommend staying here and if I'm ever in the area again, I will most definitely stay here

We visited this hotel while we were in the area looking at colleges. It is clean, the staff are very friendly and intending on assisting us in any way necessary. The breakfast in the lobby area was very good and perfect for us before we headed on our way for the day.

We ended up here after an issue with our first hotel. The rooms were clean, large, and well appointed (love a Keurig in the room!). Staff is very friendly - pool was clean (but small). Free coffee and tea in the lobby was also a nice touch. Surprise- Sleep Comfort mattresses in the rooms so you can get a perfect night's sleep.

Looks can be deceiving! First, the good news. The location and some of the amenities were nice. The hotel is located just 2 short miles from all the great attractions from the town. The town is easily accessed by going right down York St. The pool and hot tub were nice (the pool a bit on the small side).

When we arrived all looked great. The room was nice size. But, on the morning we checked out, things didn't seem what they were cracked up to be. My son dropped a Pokemon card on the floor on the morning we checked out. I decided to bend down and pick it up. When I did, what I noticed shocked me. Under the bed, there were numerous stale fries, a couple pieces of chocolate candy and a few pieces of old cereal. Mind you, we did not eat in the room nor did we bring anything edible up to the room. Honestly, how often do you look under the bed? I took pictures and showed the lady at the desk. She was mortified and apologized for what had happened. They offered to take 15% off the room both nights. I asked if they could do more but she said she could send someone up to the room to clean it. We were checking out so it wouldn't have done us any good. I don't know if I would stay here again......

Room Tip: Make sure to check under the beds!

Stayed here 2 nights while touring the battlefield. The hotel is quiet, easily accessible and very comfortable. It is also very convenient to battlefield and associated attractions. The staff was friendly and very helpful. We also enjoyed having a full cooked-to-order breakfast in the restaurant area. As an historic aside, the hotel actually sits on the site of Letterman Camp, the hospital camp built by the Union to treat the battlefield casualties of both sides resulting from the Battle of Gettysburg. Will definitely stay again here next time in Gettysburg.

Great motel. Friendly helpful staff, clean and nice rooms. Just costs too much. There are other options for places to stay in Gettysburg that are worked better for us without having to pay the high rates at this motel.

My wife and I stayed here one night in early June. Parking and reception were fine. Lobby area is open, light-filled and inviting. The room was adequate size, had large flat-panel TV, microwave, fridge, coffee maker and a window that actually opens! Although it looked well-cleaned, there was a distinct and unpleasant odor in the bathroom. Bed and pillows not very comfortable.
We asked for a top floor quiet room away from street and instead were given a 3rd (of 4 floors) floor room facing the huge and noisy HVAC unit for the building. Too tired to switch, we put up with it for one night. The fitness room was average with 2 treadmills (1 not working).
At 10AM the next morning (Sat.) , my wife and I had the $9.95 full breakfast. At that time, we were the only ones eating. We ordered pancakes, french toast, scrambled eggs and fried eggs sunnyside up, both with bacon. The pancakes were undercooked and doughy, the fried eggs were burned, the bacon on one dish was burned and on the other one undercooked. Everything was lukewarm and NOT hot. And we waited 15 minutes for the order in the empty restaurant! Staff appeared busy conversing with one another. Waitperson who took order appeared only when we ordered and at the end with the bill. This is simply unsatisfactory! Next time, I'd go to Hampton Inn for the same price.

Room Tip: Ask for room at back-- not facing the road.
