We took a Sunday drive from Linthicum and headed toward Pennsylvania. When we checked Trip Advisor to see if an old favorite, Hillcrest Restaurant in Littlestown, still closed on Sundays - only to learn that the food quality had slipped terribly and restaurant had closed permanently. One reviewer recommended driving 3 miles further to Olivia's and we did just that. Servers and bartender were really friendly. We did not realize there was an outdoor dining area until we had ordered. Waiter cheerfully moved us outdoors, turned us over to another very nice waiter. The moussaka and gyros were terrific. We had to bring some of our food home. The homemade bread and hummus were delicious. We have a new favorite destination now.

We finally made it to Olivia's on our way back from Harrisburg, The Cats were treating my wife to dinner for Mother's Day. I called ahead and set up a reservation for 2:00.
There wasn't much open for sightseeing or shopping that Sunday morn, so we found ourselves at Olivia's closer to 1:00 than 2:00. Crossing our fingers, we went on in-
The Hostess was understanding, and even gave us a booth over in the "For Groups Only" area. We liked where it sat in the restaurant, behind a half-wall. Settling in, we awaited our server.
She arrived in short order, and presented us with fresh rolls and hummus. HUMMUS has been one of my few dis-tastes, along with green peppers in any form. As an appetizer...??? But then I TASTED it- WOW!! it was unlike any hummus I had ever had. Some un-mashed chick peas and a mix of spices that is really special, served with a drizzle of Greek olive oil. MMMM! The next course was their grilled calamari, with capers. A really tasty treatment, cooked just until tender. We were wiping the plate with the last of the rolls when our entrees arrived.
One was the stuffed lobster tail. She really likes her foods separated, and the kitchen obliged. Next to a good-sized lobster tail was a ramekin of crab imperial. Both were exceptional! My Greek fisherman's stew was more than a match, full of seafood and a great light tomato broth.
For dessert, we ordered the baklava. We're from Detroit, and have enjoyed the great Greek food and pastries they offer up there. Never saw a baklava like this one tho! About 3 inches tall, droozled with a dark chocolate syrup, it really put the top on our meal.
We can't wait to get back- Thank you, Olivia's!!

Found Olivia's by chance with search on cell phone. Being a frequent Greek food eater, this restaurant was great. Gyros were good as was service and value. Little out of way from town, but worth it.

We stopped at Olivia's for lunch on the way to Gettysbug. Since it was a Sunday we were one of the first people in the restaurant. There was one server taking care of the tables. We ordered the margaritas, which were $3 on Sunday's. The homemade bread was really good, but did not try the humus as I do not like it. We ordered the BYGO gyro, which was also the special on Sunday. The gyros were nothing like we had in Greece. The meal was not what I was expecting, but would be willing to try something else next time
