From the moment you walk in you feel as if you are being treated to something special.
The deep and wide entry has high ceilings and is covered with marble(?).
The wood lined bar feels like and English pub.
The dining area is well appointed good service and linens only add to the experience.
The exercise room and pool are very good for this area.
All coverings, title and fixtures are upscale.
All this and I feel it does not quite carry the feeling through out.
I missed the simple Aloha or Mahalo from staff (or good morning and thank you).
The regular King room has little room except for furniture.
Proximity to the highway means truck traffic wakes you before daylight.
The is no make up mirror, or place to dry bathing suit.
The dining menu is of limited choice and the selection of boco osso was not available.
The remote locational and close by restaurant which had closed means you may have to drive for diner; fortunately there are many fine selection in the center of town.
The elevators are only on the west side of the building, if you get a room number X01 to about X20 you will have a hike to use them.
Since we were in Gettysburg to tour we were surprised how tour information was not openly presented.More
