A newer facility with fitness room, small inviting pool and chocolate chip cookies. Only downside for us was how far it was from restaurants-- we are walking people, but wound up driving to dinner, to the battlefield and to town.

We chose to stay here based upon many positive reviews and we were not disappointed. We have been to Gettysburg several times and have stayed at different hotels each time. We had a wonderful experience staying here and would certainly stay here again.

We arrived earlier than the check-in time and the employee helping us was understanding and helpful. The room itself was spacious with high ceilings. We had a suite that included two queen-sized beds, a small sofa that folded out into a bed, a coffee table, a large television, and a desk. There was also a microwave, a mini-fridge, a small coffee maker and hairdryer, and a small closet with an ironing board and iron. There was plenty of room to spread out and everything was very comfortable.

The décor throughout the hotel, both in the lobby and the room was modern and fresh. The lobby has plenty of seating and includes a comfortable sitting area with sofas, chairs, and a large fireplace with a television.

Everything in our room was in good working order. The television was easy to operate. The heating/air conditioner worked very well and quickly. Connecting to the free Wi-Fi was simple and quick.

The bathroom was compact but exceptionally clean. The shower has good water pressure and an adjustable shower head.

The sink/mirror area is located outside of the bathroom. I mention this only because I was the first one to awaken and was reluctant to operate the hairdryer since it would make too much noise. Not a problem, just something to note if having the sink/mirror area in a separate area or closed off is important to you.

Every employee we encountered, from the front desk to the cleaning staff, was professional, friendly, and upbeat. The front desk employee was kind enough to print out directions to the restaurant we chose.

The hotel is close enough to town without being in a congested area, and there is ample parking. While we did not use them, there is a very small indoor pool and a small workout room.

The complimentary breakfast was as good as any we've had before. There is a nice selection including eggs (scrambled one morning, hard-boiled the next), bacon and sausage, dry cereals, oatmeal, yogurt, bagels, doughnuts, and bread for toasting. There is also a waffle maker. Every imaginable breakfast condiment was available. Besides the usual butter and jam there was peanut butter, cream cheese, and honey. There is a small eating area with about 8 tables but the staff keeps everything very clean. Free newspapers are also available.

Best of all was the price. When I compared the prices online before booking the room, I was pleasantly surprised to see that this room cost much less than other hotels.

As others have noted, this is not a luxurious, five-star hotel. The pool, workout room, and eating area were all on the smaller side. However, everything was remarkably clean and modern. And our room was quite roomy and large.

One can't ask for more when the staff are friendly, the room is clean, the beds are comfortable, and there is a complimentary breakfast to boot. If you are looking for a clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced place to stay, sleep here!

I stayed with one of my two dogs just overnight on my way to Harrisburg. Got in late, and left early, but what little we saw impressed us. It is located to the east of Route 15, away from the other hotels and fast food, which made it feel "out in the country" - Loved it!! The room was good sized and the fridge was good sized with a freezer compartment.
Even though I arrived pretty late (after 10:30PM) the front desk staff was helpful and pleasant.
It is located very close to the Gettysburg Visitor's Center.
All around the hotel are grassy areas perfect for dog walking. Very pet friendly.

Stayed here for three nights in April 2014. The room was well appointed with a fridge, microwave and desk. The beds were very comfortable and the room was quiet. Housekeeping staff did a great job. The continental breakfast included waffles, eggs, bacon and / or sausage as well as the usual fare. The breakfast attendant Shirley was exceptional. She was friendly, polite and unobtrusive. The tables were promptly cleaned and all the food was quickly replenished when necessary. She was a delight and made our stay even more pleasant!

I had to find a hotel due to my power being out during an ice storm. The ones in town were booked so I drove into Gettysburg and was pleasantly surprised to find this hotel and at a great price! MUCH cheaper than the hotels in town. And the warm chocolate chip cookies at the desk to greet me were a bonus! The front desk staff were extremely helpful in getting me a room and left a note for the morning desk clerk to alert the kitchen that I needed the breakfast out early since I had to leave before the scheduled time. NICE! The rooms were large and very clean. I was wishing I had longer to stay and enjoy. I had planned for 1 night but the power was still not on at my home and quickly called and made a reservation for the second night....more chocolate chip cookies for me. I would definitely recommend this hotel. If visiting Gettysburg, it is not directly in town so nice to be away from some of the tourist traffic but close enough to easily and quickly get right into the attractions of Gettysburg.

Clean, well-managed, reasonably priced. We'll definetely come back. Not luxurious but comfy rooms. Not two doubles, they have two queens. Yummy breakfast included. After a horrible stay at Sheraton, Hershey, this was almost perfect.

We stayed here one night on a 2-day get-away to Gettysburg and to the nearby South Mountain area. The inn is located a few miles east of downtown Gettysburg, about a mile and half east of US 15.

The inn is modern and well outfitted. The rooms were ultra-clean, and spacious. We had a king-sized bed room which featured a refrigerator, microwave, and a sleep-sofa, and a flat-screen TV. We thought the bed was comfortable with the mattress being firm enough but not too firm. The hotel features interior hallways. Everything in the room worked perfectly. The heater worked well during the cold night. The shower was easy to use and quickly gave plenty of hot water. I liked the fact that even though the shower head is of the water-saving type, it still gave a comfortably high-pressure water flow.

Check-in was a snap and the staff was friendly.

The inn has complimentary Wifi as well as wired internet in all the rooms. It has a small fitness facility which I did not use, and a tiny pool, which I also did not use.

Breakfast, served 6am-10am, is complimentary and features waffles, boiled eggs, breads, 2 kinds of cereals, yogurt, juices, tea, and coffee, as well as biscuits, and 2 types of sausages.

There is plenty of parking.

The lobby is welcoming with a fireplace and sofas and a socialization high table and high chairs.

We would definitely return to this inn on a next visit to Gettysburg.

Note - this is not what many Americans would call a luxury hotel but I am rating this as a 5 because it is clean, well-managed, and welcoming, and the rooms were large and comfortable with everything in great shape. I rate hotels per quality and value rather than whether they are considered "luxury" or not.

Room Tip: One side of the hotel faces the woods, the other side faces the road (US 30). Our room faced the wo...
