We met a group of family here for a mini reunion. We were seated quickly, the dining room has a nice ambiance. From the beginning, we could tell that our waitress was overwhelmed, unsure if she was just learning, or if the amount of tables was too much.
We ordered a bottle of wine, which was properly decanted at our request. Appetizers and salads were served quickly...I recommend the lentil soup! Dinner entree was swordfish, which was cooked properly, not overcooked as it so often is. Other entrees at the table included steak and chicken, all of which got good reviews.
We got multiple desserts to share. They were all great. The most inventive one was a collection of New York sweets, included a black and white cookie, egg cream, etc. with a printed explanation. Fun.
I have found that the CIA gets tested when it is busy. If you have the flexibility, visit during the week. We enjoyed it, however.
