Very good for visitors who want an experience that takes you back to the 50's so familiar on TV.

Pete's has a decent variety of diner type fare at good prices, especially if you're bringing the kids.

Visited for dinner relatively late on a Saturday and there were very few patrons so I was seated and waited on promptly. I had the open face roast beef sandwich which came with salad, mashed potatoes and mixed vegetables. The salad was decent, not much to say about that. The roast beef was good with your typical diner/out of a jar gravy which is what I expected and I ordered it as comfort food. The vege were ok, I am not a big cauliflower fan, so I picked out the carrots and broccoli. The only minus was the mashed potatoes were watery and tasteless. They appeared to be a cross between real (with chunks) and powered.

I had the "Strawberry Shortcake" for dessert which was ok but not real strawberry shortcake. It was a yellow sponge cake with strawberries and gelatin and butter cream layers.

The price was appropriate for the area/time of day.

I have been to Pete's many times and I love going there. The food is always good and the staff is very friendly. Good food, nice people and pleasant surroundings. You can't ask for anything better.
