“Noisy”
Reviewed 2 March 2014

My son and I stopped in for an early dinner. There were only about a dozen customers in the restaurant at the time. It wasn't long before a couple of large groups arrived, and the corresponding noise level increased appreciably.

We ordered a medium size pizza, which seemed to take longer to be served than it should have. It wasn't a spectacular pizza, but average. The price, however, was high, something that a spectacular pizza would warrant.

When I combine the high noise level with the high cost and OK food, this is not a place that I will be in a hurry to return to.

“Used to Be Good. Now Awful”
Reviewed 22 October 2013

This was the place to come and hang and have pizza. I used to love to bring the kids and hang at Primo's.

The place sold a couple of years ago and it lost its edge. There doesn't appear to be anyone in charge. Management is not present or if they are, they are certainly not involved. Excessive wait time to see a server, even when the place is empty. It is clear the staff hasn't been trained and definitely not being managed. Food comes out cold...no refilss on water or sodas...had to ask.

I went from eating here 1-2 times a month to once a year. If it ever improves, I probably won't know about it...too many other places to eat.

“Best Pizza in town”
Reviewed 21 May 2013

They make the best pizza in town, and have pasta, salads, sandwiches, burgers on the menu. The menu list multiple variations of pizza, or you can make up your own ingredients. Whichever you do, it will be good. You won't leave hungry. They have been involved in the Danville community for years, helping to raise money for eduction. Pay it forward. IF you have not had pizza there, try it. If you have, you have been back.

“The corner bar where the bartender knows your name!”
Reviewed 19 January 2013

I have lived in Danville for 30 years and Primttle league,o's was always the go to place during little league, soccer, high school sports, you name it. A family owned/run business for many years, it was always a place where you were treated like a friend or family member. The restaurant has changed hands, and most of that familiarity has gone...except for in the bar. Steve, the evening bartender really makes the place. He has been there longer than anyone and makes this the most comfortable, friendly bar in town. He makes great drinks, provides active, entertaining conversation and gives everyone at the bar his complete attention. If it was not for him, this place would be gone. he food has fallen off, but you can't beat a beer or mixed cocktail in the bar with some hot wings(the best thing on the menu now). Stevo- Primo-reno is the heart and soul of this place and keeps it running.

“Not too thick or thin”
Reviewed 28 January 2012

Just the right amount of everything. Try the combo, it's the best on the menu.
