Spent Mothers Day Weekend Camping and Loving Life. Our Family has Always Loved Hug a Nut Park. That's the Name we gave it as Teenagers/Now 44 it's still a little Slice of Paradise. A lot of Changes over the Years but does seem to be for the best because of ignorant people but for those of us who Love our Park it is an Awesome Escape. For the Day or for a few.
Thank You to the Staff and Management that keep it so Nice.

This is the place to go drive the beach in your jacked up 4x4. This place has it all pot heads fights and a really nice beach. A great place to people watch and just see hoe the other half lives. the variation of people is amazing a tattoo festival, swim suit fails abound sun screen rarely ever used. bring your beer and a chair, sit back and feast our eyes.

I'm not even a huge fan of going to the beach on a hot sunny day but when I do I always go to Huguenot. It's the perfect beach to pack a lunch and throw all of your friends and family into your car and set up camp for the day. Love that you can drive on the beach when the tides are cooperating! Definitely one of the best beaches in FL!

My family and I camp at several different parks throughout the year. This park, by far, was the worst camping experience we have ever encountered. The people that worked there harassed our family since we first checked in. They kept stopping on our campsite questioning us like we were violating some rule... which, by the way, there are MANY MANY MANY rules. This was unenjoyable. We go camping to relax, enjoy ourselves, and get away from the hussel and bussel of everyday life. The bathrooms were horrible. I can't speak for the men's but the women's bathroom was disgusting. People that supposedly work for the camp would come by in an unmarked car, not even introduce themselves, shine their lights all over our campground, look into our cars, ect. The beach is nice, I'll give it that, but only as a visitor for the day. If you are looking to relax and spend time with your family .. this is NOT the place. Little Talbot Island 1 mile down the road from here is much better with no harassment.
