“An Oasis”

Three Layers Cafe and Coffeehouse
Ranked #19 of 39 Bakeries in Jacksonville
Description: This is a 1920's building that has been restored into a High End Bistro. Nesteled into a residential neighborhood just North of Downtown, this is a perfect place for a latte cappucinno or bagle and coffee in the morning, Salads, chicken salad, soups and Pannin's for lunch, and Three Layer cakes, and other home made desserts. In the evening it has a high end well appointed wine bar that serves local beer on tap. Wonder out to the Zen Garden with water features, towering bamboo and a tame bunny named Bugsy roaming freely for the kids to pet. It is simply a perfect place for people visiting Jacksonville to visit.

This place is amazing. A perfect oasis in the middle of spring field. This neighborhood is absolutely on the rise and this coffee house is a perfect example of where it is headed. The people are friendly and the coffee is wonderful, always fresh and has a fantastic flavor. Plus, there's a bunny in the back in the garden. Try and beat that, just try. A BUNNY! He's very friendly. The wine bar is fantastic as well, the folks who work there always have good suggestions.

This is a hidden gem in Springfield. We go for the Open Mic Nights with Al Poindexter and Eric. The entertainment is always good and the atmosphere warm and inviting. The cafe is known for its desserts and if you are going to splurge on great dessert, this is the place to go.

JAX is biiiig place and on Sunday afternoon also veeeeery quiet! This place is great for late inexpensive lunch between all the local peole. Atmosphere is great and you can make quick connection on free wifi or just read the chapter in your book before you finish tea, coffee, sandwich or cake prepared by very friendly staff. You can also sit on magical garden with fresh air. How about that! I will be back next time when I get lost again :-)
