It looked so pretty from pictures but when we got there we realized most stores were closed or not worth going in. It smelled weird inside. Mostly seemed to be restaurants and bars. It really does have so much potential to be a great tourist stop! We did enjoy eating outside at the Mexican restaurant and watching the boats go by. We also were appreciative of how safe we felt and noted all the runners in groups, alone, all ages etc. I was hoping for so much more!! Like I said, it has so much potential to be a family destination!!

Stayed at the Hyatt Riverfront, not a bad stroll to The Landing...has quite a few shops, bars and places to eat. Large fountain area outside with seating, awesome views of the river!

This place has not been maintained and everywhere you walked it smells of grease and mildew. I would estimate that 40% of the businesses have closed. The Irish restaurant, toy store and 9 West store are great, but i would pass on the rest. great location but poorly managed facility.

I'm sure that this place is intended to be a vibrant downtown spot to gather and have fun. It is not. Instead it is run down, with poor choices for restaurants and even more pathetic shops. If you want Hooters, it has Hooters. That pretty much is all.

Went to "Hooters" before going to a game @ Everbank Stadium. There are only a few places to eat @ the Landings (a pizza place & a steak house). The view over the river & bridges make for some good photo ops, but when the sun goes down, all the benches along the riverfront become the areas homeless sleeping & drinking areas. There are some dark areas- so be careful!
I recommend going to the south side @ eat at Ruth Chis. More money, but safer!!!
