“Awesome, even if self service”

Great new place downtown, amazing soups and sandwiches. You do have to go the counter and pick it up when they call you, but it is worth it.

“Great lunch spot!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 March 2012

Really good lunch spot in the heart of downtown. While they have a good amount of options on their menu, and do those options very well, I still feel like their menu is somewhat limited. Almost every sandwich they make is hot, for instance, and I'm not a huge fan of hot sandwiches. Also, everything is sandwiched between two slices of bread, or rolled up in a piece of bread. Much of their menu is fried (falafels, shrimp), and a good amount of their food is less than healthy (steak sandwich, burger, pot pies).

In total, I highly recommend Olio. My issue is more with their menu and their lack of substantive choices than their food. They are very good chefs and I do recommend Olio.
