“nice place to camp, just watch the raccoons”
Reviewed 15 April 2014

they have nice facilities and the best access to the ocean in Jacksonville, in my opinion. We camped there for two weeks, and the staff were nice, but the raccoons will rob your food blind if you aren't careful.

“Puts Jax Beaches to shame!”
Reviewed 15 April 2014

We mainly go to Hanna Park for the beach. They are much cleaner than Jax beaches and the parking is very convenient. It is also less crowded than Jax beaches. There is a small admission charge since it is a park but it offers more than just beaches. We did kayak there but it was a little disappointing, the "lake" is actually just a large pond that took less than 40 minutes to paddle around. There is playground & picnic facilities including barbecue charcoal grills for the public's use.

“Huge and beautiful”
Reviewed 15 April 2014

We loved the mix of beach, without commercialism, hiking trails and separate biking trails, and the lake. This is a wonderful place.

“Hiking, swimming, beach, camping & more”
Reviewed 26 March 2014

Spring break camping at Hanna! Wow! Our kids are grown with families of their own so thankfully the camping area does have a couple of rows that are not filled with families. It is great though to see the kids on their bikes or skateboards just enjoying being out & about. Beautiful, natural setting under the canopy of native Florida trees. Lots of hiking trails. And my favorite is that I can get out on my bike!

“Beautiful, but sometimes crowded”
Reviewed 26 March 2014

Between the beach, cookouts, bike trails, and natural Florida scenery; this place is fantastic. Beware of going to the beach on the weekends in the summer, it's packed.
