Hyde Park Golf Club is a well planned open course with wide fairways, ample greens and beautiful scenery. Many courses that I've played in Florida are surrounded by houses with some homes being extremely close to the playing areas. Not so at this course. Although the fairways and greens could be in slightly better condition, overall it is very good.
The course itself offers various challenges that make it very interesting. Some water, some sand, wide fairways and narrow ones too, uphill, downhill and flat means that you get to use most of the clubs in your bag. And, of course, you can't beat the beautiful mature trees and natural look.
If you get the chance, you should play this golf course.
