I found Art's Checker BBQ on-line thinking it was a down home BBQ shack. And it is, but its much more than that.
Mainly, its seafood and down home cooking like the old days when quality really meant something! For example, how about old style greens, ribs, fried green tomatoes, fried shrimp by the bucket loads, old style cole slaw and scallop casserole.
We are now fans and hope to return often for both lunch and dinner from a local master chef! BTW, check out Art's excellent blog, Cracker Cooking.
