4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 February 2012

Spent one night 2/24/12 and have a new homebase when I'm in the Jacksonville area. Check in was a breeze. The clerk,(I'm terrible with names) was very pleasant and helpful. The loby was well lit , coffee and lemon water available. Room clean with a nice comfortable chair and ottoman. Desk chair was too big for the space and blocked the path to bathroom. The hot tub was first rate, clean and hot. I'm not sure but I think the pool had cubes in it. It was so cold. Great small fitness room, as with everything else clean and well enough equipped to get a basic workout in. I didn't have time for the sauna but it was a nice touch. The dinner buffet at $10.95 was first rate. Waitstaff was attentive and friendly. Southern style vegatables were really good. I am already planning to stay here on my next trip to the area.

Room Tip: A/C noise could be heard from the outer rim. Pool area rooms would have been a better choice and bei...

I stayed recently for only one night - because of the mixed reviews - next time it will be longer. If this hotel was near the beach, and had all these amenities, people would be shelling out megabucks to stay & be happy to do so. Upon entering, the first thing I saw was the genuine smile on Jeni's face...nice start. There's also coffee & lemon water in the lobby. The room was clean - not just looked clean, but was really clean, with no film on the tile in the shower, not even a hint of mildew. I always strip a few corners of the bed to search for signs of bedbugs,no matter where I stay, & there were absolutely no signs at all. Nice pillowtop. It's true things could be updated a bit. There were a few ceiling tiles in the bathroom area that shoud've been replaced, & new TVs would be nice, but then the price would go up. I used the pool, sauna, & hot tub, & all worked fine. As to the pool being cold, it's just not true. Maybe the heater was broken for those reviews, I don't know, but it was lukewarm as it should've been. There are two sauna rooms inside the fitness center, the one on the left worked fine - didn't try the other one. I just preheated it awhile. The hot tub was better than most, as it's timer could be set longer than 15 minutes. As to the people not liking the pool being in the middle of things, it's really not as public as they made it sound. Yes, people can see you poolside, but there are only a few gates leading into the pool area, so it's not like they're walking right past you all the time. There's a sign stating the outside perimeter of the downstairs common area is also 1/10 mile, so if you feel so inclined, (I didn't), you have an indoor walking track. The fitness room has a treadmill, elliptical, weight thingy, & a few other things. I ate dinner in Hart Field Restaurant, & had grilled pork loin. It came with 2 sides & salad bar & was very good - except for the mashed potatos. They also have an all u can eat dinner buffet from 5-9 for $10.95. I was not very hungry, or I definitely would've gotten it instead. The staff is very accomodating & friendly. I will stay again.

Room Tip: The rooms with indoor access & atrium view are the way to go.

Just spent a night at this hotel, and it was clean & modern. It had a pool, free breakfast buffet, fridge & microwave. The total price for a double was $49.00 plus tax, wow! I would totally come back.

Just stayed again at this property and found the hotel staff and restaurant staff to be outstanding. Husband and I on special diets and restaurant staff went out of their way to accomodate us - steaks were great and veggetables were the best. We come here often for meetings and have never been disappointed. Not the newest - but great value for the price.

Driving from Ohio to South Florida with two large dogs on Christmas day can be exhausting. At 2 am I called and said we'd be there in about an hour and Ashlee told me they had rooms. She was professional and nice. Something I'm not used to hearing over the phone anymore. When we arrived she quickly got us set up with an adequate room that the dogs were very comfortable in. We only spent a few hours sleeping and didn't check out the rest of the hotel but because of Ashlee and her professional, prompt service, we would stay here again.

Stayed here for a night while visiting my daughter. Part hotel, part motel as some rooms are indoors on atrium and others outside doors. Area is industrial with not much around it but hotel has security at night and seems safe, and right off interstate so easy access. Stayed in an atrium room and used indoor pool with grand daughter. Very nice pool/atrium area and nice to have an indoor pool as was cool outside. Room was large and appeared to have been recently renovated. Very clean, smelled new and comfortable bed. Will definitely stay here on future travels in Jacksonville area. Check this one out if you need somewhere to spend a night and not spend a fortune. Includes free breakfast buffet. Front desk staff very pleasant and helpful.

Room Tip: If you don't mind a little noise, ask for an atrium room.

Hotel did not meet Holiday Inn standards any more, so it picked up the Quality name. Staff is great. Food is ok. Pool is inside, yes inside pool in Fla. Carpets are worn as are chairs and fixtures. Hotel is in industrial area near I-295 but not near anything good in Jacksonville.
