My girlfriend and I were running late due to traffic on the I-5; we called ahead to let them know about our late arrival, and there were no qualms about it. Though the hotel was a little tricky to get to (given the one way streets in Astoria), we found it quickly enough. The building is old but has been up-dated, giving you that sense that it has history, but not that it is going to fall down on you - there's combination of modern and rustic interior.
Check in was quick, though there was some mis-communication between the staff about a later check out (this was our only problem during our stay). The room was clean - white bed sheets are always a comforting sign. It was a hot night, but the room remained cool. While the showers and bathrooms were shared, they were extremely clean with new equipmentMore
