We have stayed at this hotel quite a few times. The rooms are good sized. It is always nice and relaxing everytime we go there. The pool area is great, and it is open 24 hours a day! You can stay out late and not worry about the pool being closed when you get back. It includes a pool, hot tub, and a sauna/steam room. I am always suprised by the free big breakfast that is provided. My kids like to sleep in, but they actually woke up early just for the breakfast! Plus they have chocolate chip cookies around check in time!

We took at 2500 mile trip in 8 days and stayed every night in a Best Western. We found the Lincoln Inn to be the very best value, have the nicest staff, and we had the most wonderful experience out of all the Best Westerns we stayed at. Bree worked the front desk and was so kind. She managed to get us a special rate and a room with a riverview/ in room jacuzzi/ flat screen/ and fireplace. After check in, we decided we wanted to stay one more night. It was just too good to stay at for only one night. Our evenings were quiet and the hotel was so comfortable. We had delicious evening cookies and a yummy breakfast. The staff was super and it was just a pleasure to be a guest in the hotel.

I have travled globally and in the lower 48 for the last eight years. I have had many fabulous lodging experiences. My experience here though has been unmatched in service. The staff here went above and byond with every request or whim that I could dream of. The cookies served in the evening were fabulous.

Stayed here during our last weekend trip to the beach. We don't head off without reservations often, but for this trip we were on an adventure. No nicer lodgings were available in Long Beach so since it was getting late we decided to sleep in Astoria on our way south down the coast. This was a great spot for over night in the $100 range. The rooms are very clean and nicely furnished. The breakfast served in the morning is a great money saver. Usually a hotel breakfast is a snack until you can get everything packed up a decide what's to eat. They had eggs and meat, toast, cereal and real waffels (a must have in our house, my son was very happy).

The room was newly remodeled, very clean, and quiet. We chose to have a view of the river
and it looked right out at the Columbia River bar. We saw one large ship crossing the bar
but did hear ships' horns at night as we left the window open. The view close up to the hotel
was a empty field which took something away from the view of the water. The staff was very
helpful and recommended The Cannery Restaurant which we really liked. Breakfast was
good with eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy etc..While staying here we visited and enjoyed
The Marine Museum, Fort Stevens State Park, and Fort Clatsop National Park.

Now, I would be the first to admit that accomodations are better when they are free! We stayed at several Best Western's this past summer and received points toward free lodging - in our case two nights at the Lincoln Inn. Close to the coast (10 minute drive to Sunset Beach, 15 minutes to Del Rey Beach), with in-room views over the mouth of the Columbia River, heated indoor pool and hot tub, a decent but not spectacular breakfast bar (the fresh do-it-yourself waffles are the highlight), the Lincoln Inn met our needs. It is clearly off-season, with relatively few rooms occupied. Very quiet. We stayed in the 4-story wing - either new construction or recently refurbished. Mattresses were a bit on the soft side; otherwise no complaints. Our daughter really enjoyed the pool and we all enjoyed the hot tub.

Can't comment on the relative value, but we would certainly recommend this place for visitors to Astoria or the north coast of Oregon.
