“nice but nogood wifi”
Reviewed 2 June 2013

The location is quite unique with all rooms overlooking the small port and the river. Very nice and comfortable room except that there strangely enough wasn't any refrigerator or a microwave. The staff was quite friendly and helpful, except that they didn't really care that the wifi was out for the two days we were there. Very nice continental breakfast with great waffles and real juice. The price was very reasonable, we paid 62+tax each night.
If not for the wifi I would have given it 4 stars.

Location is excellent, right on the harbor and by the bridge. Balconies sit out over the water for a great place to relax after a day of sightseeing. The beds were comfortable and the room had a microwave, fridge, WiFi and a DVD player. The front desk staff were very friendly and accommodating. We'll certainly stay again when in the area.

Room Tip: Select a room facing north so you can watch the ships go by, great entertainment for the kids!

we paid $130.00 a night for our rooms, this was a group gathering we ask for early check in at 1:30 couldn't get in till after 5:00. we had an extra room for gathering was to have table and chairs we got chairs no table we had a lamp no bulb . The toilet leaked the sink didn't work.we asked to have windows cleaned didn't happen we cleaned them. My room had sawdust on the floor, deck didn't look safe, bedding was new and nice view.
Maid service was emptying the trash and swept up sawdust didn't make the bed or clean coffee pot, Outside my room no outside lights for stairs or to get into the room .No ice maker close to my room just where one used to be. It was so bad when we all got together we had to compare notes and laugh who had the worst room.

This was a great place to stay in Astoria. The hotel is right on the walking/biking trail that goes through Astoria and the Astoria Trolley stops right in front of the hotel. This hotel offers free bike rental, a very good free breakfast, free DVD rentals, free passes to three museums, free trolley passes, and every room has a view of the harbor and the Columbia River. The staff was very friendly and the front desk is open 24 hours a day. The rooms were older and have been upgraded, but some repairs still need to be done. The bed was very confortable and our room had a refrigerator and microwave.

Room Tip: All of the room have a private balcony that face the harbor and the Columbia River---a beautiful vie...

I can't begin explain what a let down this hotel was. We came with high hopes and ended up bailing on our second night despite being told we couldn't get a refund. The room was so stuffy and stale and the air conditioner/fan wasn't functional. Bad timing with unseasonably warm weather. Our room was like a smelly sauna. Not dirty, per se.... but certainly not clean. The place is run down and and doesn't seem well kept. We asked if we could cancel our second night within an hour of seeing our room. As previously mentioned, the answer was no. On the plus side, the staff was very nice. And they bake cookies.

This hotel offers a lot of amenities, free bike rental, breakfast, free DVD rental, rooms had microwave and refrigerator. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the hotel was close to other restaurants and a boardwalk. They even have family rooms with bunk beds, flat screen TVs, and game cubes (no games for the game cube though...). The hotel itself though needs some renovation, (they've done a few cosmetic changes already), for example the bathrooms have much to be desired (old water fixtures, flooring, ect). All rooms have balconies right onto the harbor, and you can see ships going in and out which is nice. Overall it was a great price and would recommend it.

Room Tip: The Family Suite comes with two adjoining rooms, one with two double beds, another with a bunk bed a...
