We are long time locals that seem to always eat at the same places, because we know the food is consistently good. We had always skipped the silver salmon grille, as we did not want to try someplace new and be disappointed. This was a mistake.
This restaurant is delightful. A nice menu with a good selection of fish, steak and pasta. Nice ambiance, and a good bar, and prices were average for this kind of meal.
Started with shrimp cocktail and drinks, probably one of the best shrimp cocktails I have had in recent memory.
I had the blackened ribeye, cooked to perfection, and the vegetables and baked potato were good. The wife had tortellini Alfredo with salmon, also very good.
We were too full for dessert, so brought home a tart that looks wonderful.
The only down side for both of us was the Cesar salad with dinner. It was more like a pile of Parmesan cheese with a little bit of romaine under it. For the premium price you pay to upgrade from a standard dinner salad, it was a letdown.
