This was a great place to go and get the history of Lewis and Clark. I learned a lot and the trails are great. It would be a good place to pack a lunch and spend the day.

I could not get to all the sites i wanted to visit, but the interactive center at Cape Disappointment should have been the first stop to plan the rest.
the history is very exciting, and fascinating.

Learn everything you need to know about the Corps of Discovery's expedition and the winter of 1805-1806.

Have to say the signage for this park coming from Astoria sucked. It was terribly hard to find but once we did I enjoyed it. We had a preteen, teen and two adults and all of us were engaged for a time in learning about the L&C expedition and enjoying the view.

It is a more historical park than a scenic park. Worth a quick visit if you pass by the area, e.g. drive from OR coast to Seattle area or vice versa. The exhibit is good. There is some houses in the park to show how they lived there yet they are duplicate. The park has multiple locations.
