I want to come back to explore Astoria further simply so I can stay in this hotel again. I felt so incredibly relaxed here after several days roughing it along the coast. This was the best hotel and the best value this entire vacation. There's so much to see in the area as well so don't think it's not worth more than a two day stay. The Bridgewater Bistro, a very short walk from the Hotel, is convenient if you're tired and don't want a hassle (like me) but keep in mind it's pretty much like suburban chain restaurant food with a bit of a higher price tag so a trip into town may be worthwhile.

The rooms were great very clean and comfortable, they had a nice tub where you could take a bath and still look out the window of your view of the harbor, which my wife enjoyed. Just be careful with the fireplace it can get the room hot very quickly and we found it took a while to get it cooled down again. The afternoon happy hour with wine and lox was great, when we were there they have a man come by and give a great talk on Lewis and Clark during that time. The staff was very friendly and attentive if you need something just ask and they will try and help. All and all I definitely recommend this hotel when staying in Astoria.

We were hosting a workshop on designing a customer experience and we couldn't have picked a better place to stay. The staff is THE BEST (I do these workshops all over the U.S. - SERIOUSLY - the BEST), the facility is amazing and the community is so supportive and fun.

If I could sell my house today - I'd be there tomorrow...

Several friends recommended this hotel, and I can see why. While a little on the pricey side, the view of the waterfront and the quality of the rooms is worth it.

I brought my mother here for a mother/daughter weekend and we had such a lovely time. My mom especially liked that the room had binoculars and had fun watching the boat traffic - you can get a schedule at the front desk. The bathroom has a great big clawfoot soaking tub and nice fluffy bathrobes, and the beds were very comfortable. We wished it had a pool as well as the hot tub, it was nice, didn't use the sauna or any spa treatments but it looked cute in there.

The continental breakfast was fine, and the lobby area is comfortable and also has a pretty view, also took advantage of the appetizers in late afternoon. The bistro within walking distance of the hotel had a great Sunday brunch, loved the hot cross buns with the lemon curd.

There is a small business center upstairs above the lobby with internet access if you need to check your email or print out Mapquest directions, etc. and they don't make you request a password or anything.

We highly recommend visiting the maritime museum while in Astoria, they have great exhibits. Not within walking distance of this hotel, but worth the short drive.

By the end of my stay I was calculating how much it would cost me to live there. The rooms are well designed and very comfortable with a gas fireplace, large windows overlooking the Columbia, and a bathroom my wife fell in love saying it reminded her of the bathroom at the Halekulani in Waikiki. The view of the bridge, river, marina, and passing vessels of all sizes is incredible. The front desk passes out daily shipping schedules in the morning if you are a ship watcher. The lobby and library area are a nice place to eat breakfast, relax, or socialize with other guests. I really cannot say anything to bad about Cannery Pier. I loved it

We love boutique hotels, and we LOVED this one. Our favorite part is that they couldn't do enough for you- wine and appetizers in the late afternoon, bikes to use, a car to chauffeur you, a wonderful breakfast- all included. Other boutique hotels can nickel and dime you, but this one rolled out the red carpet with no extra charges. We enjoyed the unique feel to this hotel, the in-room fireplace, the claw foot tub, and so much more!
