Enjoyed my tender, delicious piping hot oysters with the Red Ale. Lovely view of the Columbia River.

We had been referred to this place by the owner Luke, who also owns another business. We really enjoyed the openness of the place especially watching the cable cars go by. If your are looking for peace and quiet then go to the back over looking the river. If the noise doesn't bother you then stay up front by the bar.

The food was awesome. Both my husband and I had the bone-in rib eye. It was cooked to perfection and was delicious. The knoche was quite a change from baked or mashed potatoes but they were great also. Beer was awesome.

We will be back to try other items and taste more of their beer.

On a weekend trip to Astoria with my sweetheart, we swung into Buoy Beer Co. The aesthetics are great and include a nifty glass floor viewing area beneath the building into the water below. We were seated at a nice little table for two with a view of the water and the massive freight ships against the horizon. We enjoyed that very same view for about 20 minutes before our server Alicia brought us menus. We ordered the fried cheese curds with romesco, two red ales and waited with great excitement. When they arrived hot and delicious we enjoyed them thoroughly without napkins or silverware, which must be part of the casual dining experience. After we had finished our delicious appetizer we were lucky enough to have our first beer arrive. I think Alecia wanted us to enjoy the cheese curds without having the annoyance of an altered taste pallet, hindered by the flavor of the beer. We asked for water to help wash away the salty goodness of the golden fried curds, which she assured us she would retrieve. However I think she thought we hadn't seen enough of the brewery and helped us to see the bar area up close when I went to get water for us about 15 minutes later. We would have loved to enjoy dinner here, but unfortunately we didn't have another hour and a half to order anything else. A swift 20 minutes later we were able to sign the check and head on our merry way. It was a pleasant hour and a half visit to the Bouy Beer Co. complete with one beer and a delicious appetizer.

Went in for a beer on a Friday night about 6PM. The bar was full which was a good sign as this is a new restaurant. I sat in the main bar which has a great view of the river and a good vibe. I had their Helles beer and it was Excellent. The waiter, Missy, was excellent and deserves to be recognized!

We had several appetizers, the pistachios (huge portion for approx 5 bucks) the YUMMY deviled eggs, a great salad, and 3 different beers, all VERY GOOD. The place was crowded, and the main room was not open yet but the service was swift and cheerful. We will be back many many times.....
