Just a wonderful piece of history - thoroughly enjoyed it! My son would like to go back for some of the other events happening there are they celebrate their anniversary. Easy to get to and from, too!

“Patriotic Pride!”
Reviewed 2 September 2014

You don't have to be a history buff to explore and enjoy Fort McHenry. The water taxi ride is enjoyable on it's own. However, when you step off the boat, you begin to experience the special atmosphere that shaped our nation's struggle for freedom. The staff is extremely knowledgeable &
helpful. A brief video presentation gives an excellent overview of the bombardment and the inspiration for the Star Spangled Banner. When the rockets quiet and you see the Stars & Stripes waving in the breeze, you'll get a lump in your throat as you sing the anthem with the crowd.
Parents...please take your children to be a part of history.

“Beautiful view”
Reviewed 2 September 2014

It is located on a peninsula that overlooks the Baltimore Harbor. It is a great place to take the kids and let them run and climb around while taking in some history.
