Owner description: This charming national historic district, dating back to the 18 century, has cobblestone streets, historic buildings, craft and antique stores, coffee houses and street fairs. Stop by the Art Gallery of Fells Point to see some fine work by local artists.

It's a much cuter, safer and cheaper version of Georgetown or Alexandria. Walk the cobblestone streets with no worries. Best bets are the ghost tours, Kali's Court, Mezze and Tapas Adela for restaurants....The Admiral 's Cup is a great pub with live music. Great hotels are the Admiral Fell Inn and Henderson's wharf. Everything is insanely reasonably priced compared to surrounding cities.

Fell's Point is one of the oldest parts of Baltimore City. While it is being transformed through the introduction of new apartments, etc, enough of the old remains to make it one of the most interesting parts of the City to visit. It faces the water and recalls the maritime history of this City. Moreover there are unique shops where one can spend a lot or a little depending upon one's budget. There are pubs and eatery's aplenty and of a varied nature. All in all Fell's Point more than warrants a visit. During the Summer take advantage of the many places to stroll and enjoy ice-cream. In a City which is often empty of people, this area teems with life!

The bars, restaurants, shops, etc. are all local. You can experience everything from Bertha's Mussels, Thames Street Oyster House, to Brick Oven Pizza. Lots of local clothing, shoe and variety shops along the cobblestone streets. Home of the original "Homicide, Life on the Streets" NBC series police HQ.
