“Prime Rib is the Star of Baltimore!”
Reviewed 12 August 2014

Everyone in Maryland should dine in this historic landmark restaurant of Baltimore, at least once in his / her lifetime! Dining here takes one back to the Fifties, or earlier, when posh dining venues, with artistic traditional food, perfectly prepared, was the norm in the classical restaurants. Service is perfectly timed and executed with excellence, in a serene manner. Yes, one has professional male waiters, giving constant attention to the diner, even though the diner is almost unaware. This STAR creates a life-changing experience for the diner so be sure to go on your next birthday, if not sooner! Oh, the pianist presents another lovely 'touch' to this charming dining pleasure, too. (Secret: It is an expensive restaurant BUT "restaurant week" prices and food are the best at this restaurant, compared to all the other restaurant participants.)

“It was ok”
Reviewed 8 August 2014 via mobile

This was my first experience there. I ordered the steak medium well but when I cut into it, there was no pink at all. It was quite dry. I don't like to complain much and the waiter did not care that it was well done. The rest of my party's food was cooked properly so why would I want to wait for a new steak. So I just figured I'd write a review instead. I might go back one day. Just not anytime soon.

“Outstanding Steak”
Reviewed 3 August 2014

The steak here was out of this world good. yes it is pricey and well worth it as this was one of the best steaks I have every had. Although the dress code is business casual, would recommend dressing business as a lot of staff and customers do. Very great steak.

“Always Excellant”
Reviewed 22 July 2014

I just had the pleasure of eating at The Prime Rib in Baltimore this past Friday evening. I split a Ceasar salad and asked and received extra anchovies. The salad was fresh and crisp romaine lettuce with shaved parmesan cheese mixed into the dressing.
This was followed by the large prime rib (bone on) cooked to medium rare served with a side of fresh shaved horseradish root. The meat just melts in your mouth and what a great flavor. In addition I split an order of saute spinach with golden raisins and pine nuts.
I finished the meal with a split order with my diner date of a hot fudge sundae and a hot decaf coffee.
The service as always is great and your water glass never gets below half filled. The only disappointment is there prices have increased and as a result the check is a little heavier, but it is sure worth the price and
experience.

“Prime Rib at The Prime Rib”
Reviewed 15 July 2014

I had the prime rib as my entree and it was excellent! It's was a large portion of meat cooked perfectly. The service, from the staff at the door, to our waiter, was also great.
