Location is great if you are attending the Baltimore convention center. The Days Inn is across the street from the main entrance. The hotel has been renovated recently, and looks neat and clean. It is not as fancy as some downtown hotels -- paper cups, no marble tiles, no minibar. However it is perfectly good, especially as the price was lower than nearby hotels. It has good security, a large safe, and was quiet. I arrived at 2 am after a delayed flight, and was met by a pleasant man at the front desk. I asked for a quiet room and was given one near the end of a hall on the eighth floor. There was very little noise from the hall or the street. The air conditioner was mounted on the outside wall, and seemed to be able to cool the room. The work desk was rather small. My major annoyance was the WiFi. It was easy to connect to -- no password, no limit on the number of devices. However you needed to click the Accept button on the hotel's web page before connecting, and this had to be done fairly regularly by each device. I had trouble maintaining my Outlook connection on a laptop in the evening, as it kept reconnecting. On the other hand the connection was fast enough to watch NetFlix.

I was treated with patience and respect during check-in when I needed it most as I was visiting Baltimore to see my Dad at Johns Hopkins. The water pressure in the shower was outstanding, the restaurant had the best food and the staff there were so friendly I wished I could bring them back out west with me. I got much needed rest in a bed that felt just right and the room was very quiet - I didn't hear hall noise like I have done at other establishments. If I ever am in the area again I will make sure that I stay at this hotel.

My colleague and I stayed here while attending a conference at the convention centre across the road.

My room was clean and comfortable without being opulent. The breakfast is decent if pricey.

The primary perk of this hotel is its proximity to the convention centre and other inner harbour attractions.

The fitness centre is quite bland, only a weight stack machine and some cardio equipment, no free weights or pull up/dip bars. So Barely adequate if you're serious about fitness.

It is comfortable with friendly and efficient staff without being remarkable.

Room Tip: Higher rooms have less road noise.
