The pictures were a bit deceiving. First the roof is not blue, it's black. Second the master bedroom has a deck off of it that is about 30 feet from the road, which overlooks a house across the street. Third the living room did NOT have a gas fireplace, as advertised through trip advisor, to enjoy, and the rental agreement prohibits wood fires. There was no fire pit outside, but there was a run down garage, shed, piles of dirt, and garbage that the pictures didn't capture. Also, you can see another house and see the traffic going by through the grand living room windows which the pictures also do not capture. The rental agreement also warns about the well and the pump could not handle more than one function at a time, i.e. flushing the toilet and washing dishes at the same time or washing your hands and showering...seems like the pump is insufficient to handle any kind of a load. This is all after they have charged your credit card and locked you into a stay. The cancellation policy is 30 days even if there isn't 30 days between booking and the planned stay. They also jacked up the cost for a Friday and Saturday night even though check in was on a Thursday. This is somewhat understandable during PEAK season, but to raise it almost $100 per night when we were the ONLY booking in all of February seems extreme. They were lucky to get a booking during this time of year. I was looking for a secluded get away, to enjoy a nice fireplace and relax with a loved one. I didn't get that. The best thing about the stay was the company I shared it with.
