My husband and I travel to Savannah at least six times a year. This is the first time we have felt like we experienced the a complete Savannah experience. The Inn is beautiful located adjacent to Forsyth Park. Host Bill Saxman was very gracious. The accomodations were very spacious and we enjoyed our stay. We highly recommend it!

What a Wonderful B&B. My wife and I decided we needed to get out of town for a couple of days. I didn't tell her where we were going, just that it would be warmer than it was at home. I had no idea that we would find a home away from home when we got to Savannah. The Whitaker-Huntingdon Inn is a wonderful place, our rooms were very spacious and clean. The kitchen was stocked wonderful breakfast treats. ( the orange-cranberry cookies were sooooooo good ) What a wonderful idea to put a separate kitchen in the rooms. Go to bed when you want, sleep as long as you want, get up when you feel like it, and eat breakfast on your own schedule, absolutely marvelous. The Inn is located just across the street from the big fountain in Forsyth Park. We would fix a cup of coffee and walk into the park to enjoy the morning. If Your Going to Savannah and Looking For A Great Place To Stay, Whitaker-Huntingdon Inn is the place. Bill was a wonderful host and treasure trove of info about Savannahs history, and the culinary scene of the locals. We did not get to meet Debbie because she was a little under the weather but we are looking forward to meeting her on our next trip.

Oh and one more little tip, Clary"s for breakfast ( or lunch ) and the Crystal Beer Parlor for dinner.

Stayed there recently for a girls' weekend with my mom, sister and aunt. The inn was clean, lots of sleeping and bathing space, and a full kitchen. Nice owners, lots of sightseeing information, right on Forsyth Park. We are already planning our trip back.

If you are going to Savannah anytime soon stay at this inn. The innkeepers do an extraordinary job and are eager to please. In addition, the inn is located in a good location- close to the main attractions, restaurants, and bars. The room was perfect- spacious, comfortable, and welcoming. Please stay at this inn when you are planning a trip to Savannah.

Bill and Debbie are great hosts and lovely people. The 2 bedroom 2 bath unit we stayed in was great for the 4 of us. We brought in our own breakfast food and snacks, altho, they would have provided them should we have needed it. The unit was very clean and decorated so Southernly which was what we were looking for since we were in the Historic District. We would recommend this Inn to everyone. Altho, .93 mi from River Street, it is still within walking distance to everything and there is alot to see and visit as you walk to the more populated tourist areas.

We recently stayed at this charming B & B for two nights and were very pleased. The innkeepers Bill and Debbie are very helpful and gave us much guidance relating to our plans for things happening in Savannah, going above and beyond via e-mails to us before our arrival with tips and advice. They have lived in Savannah at the Inn for 33 years. The Taylor-Dunn 3-room suite plus bath in which we stayed was roomy, clean, with a comfortable bed, and very quiet. Located directly on Forsyth Park its an easy walk to all the historic properties and squares. They have a unique way of providing breakfast by stocking the en-suite kitchen and fridge with bagels, yogurt, cereal and fresh fruit to please just about anyone, so you serve yourself. Highly recommend this Inn!

Cudos to Bill and Debbie for making our first trip to Savannah feel like we were visiting family. The Inn is charming and warm with all the historical touches and modern conveniences one could possibly ask for. Our Innkeepers were friendly and detail oriented in making sure our needs were met. Being able to get up and have breakfast overlooking Forsythe Park at our leisure was great. The kitchenette provided us the ability to eat in or dine out, keeping snacks available and all the rest. Bill checked on us several times prior to our arrival to make sure everything was in place for a wonderful vacation. Definitely spreading the word that this is definitely the place to stay in Savannah!!!
