“Wonderful Maritime History!”
Reviewed 24 August 2014

The building alone is a step back into history. Beautiful! Then the beautifully kept garden in the back (where you go into the museum) is so peaceful. Such a treat before even going into the museum which to me was the icing on the cake. Well worth the stop!

“Something for everyone - detailed, authentic models and information”
Reviewed 5 August 2014

We visited this attraction when it was crammed into small quarters down on River St. years ago. This new location is incredible and the ships are now showcased in spacious displays with room to linger. Attendants are knowledgeable and enjoyable if you have questions about anything maritime (not just exhibits).
The bonus of this new location is the beautiful gardens which require no admission fee. The landscape architecture affords incredible use of trees and shrubbery to create an outdoor "castle of nature" which is both relaxing and inspiring.

“Ships, Ships, Ships”
Reviewed 5 August 2014

We really enjoyed this museum. Lots of models of various ships from various eras. My favorite display was the ships in bottles. I know some people enjoy this hobby, but I don't have the patience. I always find the product of people that do very interesting.

“Beautiful Ship Models”
Reviewed 4 August 2014

Each room of the Scarborough House, showcases different eras of ships. There are many from the early years and even one of the Titanic. It was a very enjoyable tour.

“Much more than expected”

The models of ships were very impressive. Got there late in the day. It's worth several hours to see it all.
