Everyone I met who had ever been to Savannah or lived there before we went told us to go to the Pirates' House. I had seen some unfavorable recent reviews on the Internet, but husband had been there when he was young and wanted to revisit. It is kind of dark, but the candles were a nice cozy touch. 2nd floor rumored to be haunted by pirate of "Treasure Island" fame, who died of rum poisoning. It is said that employees will not go to the second floor after sundown to this day. The food was average. I suppose the prices you pay are for the historic atmosphere.
Overall, I would rate it a 4 out of 10.
