Beautiful, and full of a wonderful history! Everyone we encountered there was friendly and warm, and our guide was so sweet (and so patient with any children on the tour). The history is fascinating, and we wished we had more time to look over and read everything. Take your camera!

We missed the Friday tour because of Shabbat (closes at 3). So we walked over Saturday and came upon a bar mitzvah. We shared the joy and prayers of friends and family. What a lovely asset for Savannah!

Small synagogue, but very interesting place to visit; third oldest synagogue in America. There were a lot of historic FIRST PERSON texts upstairs about early Jewish settlers that could be very interesting to read through. Our guide was great, a very excited storyteller.

Savannah had one of the largest Jewish populations in the South from the beginning. This temple is beautiful and reflects the multi-cultural fibers that make up the beautiful quilt known as Savannah!

A very interesting tour of the third oldest Jewish synagogue in the US. Our guide was very knowledgeable and the artifacts, particularly a torah scroll from the 15th century, was fascinating. Worth the $6 admission. Walking distance from many of the hop on/hop off tour busses.
