I'm glad to see Mickve Israel has a place for a review. My sisters and I stopped into this temple while visiting Savannah (two years ago now) and we had a great tour of the temple and their small museum. The docent who gave us the tour was very knowledgable and friendly. After a tour of the sanctuary, the docent accompanied us to their small museum and provided explanation on many relative artifacts. In all, I believe we were with our guide for over an hour and this was all for just $3.00 pp. The history of the Jewish immigrants and their contribution to the state of Georgia and city of Savannah is very interesting. The docent encouraged us to return the next day for service but, unfortunately, we were leaving on that day. The temple is kitty-corner from the Mercer house. Check it out.
