We stayed one night while passing through on our road trip. The staff was wonderful, completely nice and hospitable. The breakfast was good, rooms were good size and walking distance to a lot of attractions.
The only downside we had was that our rooms was not that clean. The bathroom had shaving whiskers, and the tub had hair in it… But besides that… everything else was great.

Just driving down River St in Savannah and came across the Olde Harbour Inn while looking for a parking space. We thought we would just go in and ask to see if it was anything close to our price range. The lady at the desk was extremely helpful. I wish I had got her name. She was wonderful. She showed us several rooms and different prices. We fell in love with #402. It is a room with a balcony overlooking the Savannah River. It had a living room, kitchenette (which had a full size fridge) and a gorgeous bathroom. We got it at, what we feel, was a very reasonable rate for this type of room. The air conditioner worked extremely well! The high speed internet was great. Fastest internet speed I have ever gotten at a hotel. We were very pleased with everything! We will be staying here again! Highly recomend!

First time visit to Savannah .... had a difficult time whether to experience the city on the rive OR in the historical district. I knew we wanted the character so I chose the Old Harbour Inn. The charm and character were there, but there is only so much time you can spend walking the river front shoppes. I would definitely choose an inn in the historical district if I were to do it again!

Regarding the Harbour Inn, yes it did have the charm and character of the period, however was really over priced for the service. The breakfast left a lot to be desired for the money.

I stayed in room 404, a two level suite. Had a decent kitchen, living room, bedroom on main floor and bedroom on loft floor. Had a few visits from the resident ghost who supposedly is in room 406 more but he was in mine thats for sure. Location was great, fun to go to down to the river as soon as you step out the door. Very friendly staff who are eager to help with anything, even reserve tours for you. I gave it a 3 for cleanliness because I did see wrappers from previous guests, etc.

We just returned from a most enjoyable vacation in Savannah, Georgia, staying at the Olde Harbour Inn. I can't imagine a better place to stay as the Inn is located right on the river, within walking distance of major attractions and restaurants.

The Inn was formerly a cotton warehouse, that has been tastefully converted to lodging while retaining its historic Southern charm. Our suite, #204, was spacious and consisted of a Living room, kitchen area, bathroom and bedroom.

A Continental breakfast was provided each morning in the central dining room consisting of coffee, tea, juices, cereals, yogurt, biscuits, bacon, quiche and pastries. Each evening, guests enjoyed socializing at the daily wine and cheese reception held at 5:30 pm. A most pleasant surprise was finding that housekeeping would leave Eskimo Ice Cream bars in our refrigerator each evening,

We would heartily recommend the Olde Harbour Inn as a great place to stay in Savannah

We stayed in room 406... the one Hank is suppose to hang out in. We did not see Hank, however, we got lots of pictures of orbs....or are those dust particles.....woooooo..... know one knows.

We were traveling with a 15, 13 and 10 year old. They loved the room and the loft was a great place to hang our and do your homework. A ice cream bar in the freezer was all they needed to give this hotel a thumbs up! Who needs a chocolate on your pillow when you have an ice cream bar!

Kenny and Dominic were wonderful. The B & B style (family style) breakfast and wine and cheese may not be for you if you do not like to be social. It was a nice continental breakfast and a casual wine and cheese.

We also had a wonderful bed.
We had a lovely time.

My Mother, Sister and I just returned from a "girls get-a-way" at the Olde Harbour Inn. When I called to make the reservations, I needed 3 suites together. They worked it out that we got 3 riverfront suites! We had the only 3 suites through that particular entrance! Each suite is designed slightly different but each one is HUGE! We actually could have stayed in 2 suites (Mom in one and Sis and I in one!! LOL!), but it was nice to have our very own apartment! There is a kitchen/kitchenette (which we did not use!!) in each suite along with a living room, bathroom and bedroom. Just magnificent! Kenny got us all checked in and showed each of us around our suites and gave us the low down on particular resturants and area shopping. Very helpful and knowledgeable! We bought the 48 hour city parking pass and never moved our vehicle. We walked everywhere we went. The weather was great! I have been to Savannah many times and have always stayed at one or the other Hyatt/Marriott/Westin and will NEVER do that again! This was a home away from home and so much character. Along with a friendly ghost named Hank. Make sure you get the Colonel to tell you some tales.

Breakfast is delicious! Either Kenny or the Colonel cooked bacon, sausage and biscuits. Had fresh fruit, bagles and pastries; cereals and the BEST coffee! A great way to start the day.

The wine and cheese social in the late afternoon was a lot better than I had anticipated. You will have a choice of 2 different types of wine and there is anything from small sandwiches to chips and nuts. We met some very interesting people during this time and was a good time to rest up before going back out to dinner.

Make sure that you check out your freezer! There are ice cream bars in there!! We didn't look until the last day and were so upset that we didn't know they were there!!

I would highly recommend this Inn to anyone!

  • Liked — The size of the suites, the staff, the character, everything!
  • Disliked — Not one thing.
