Love Savannah and really loved this hotel. The suite was terrific with a commode and a sink and then in another larger bathroom a large shower and sink. The room had a nice sitting area, refrigerator, free wifi and an ipod dock. A very nice outdoor pool on the second floor, looked great for the kids. Breakfast was nicely set up and included turkey bacon, waffles, a well stocked refrigerator with yogurts and much more. The orange juice was delicious, just the way I like it.

ESFFlorida,

Thank you for choosing to stay with us, and taking the time to share with others about your visit here. We are pleased that you enjoyed the suite design, and that you found the bathroom layout convenient. I find that it works perfectly for families traveling together! I hope that you found time during your stay to enjoy the pool. If not, it is heated year-round, so you may enjoy it on your next visit! We hope to see you again soon.

This hotel was perfect for our family of 5. The two queen beds plus the pull-out sofa accommodated us easily. We were happy to have the small fridge and microwave, as we had so much left over food from our dinner at Lady & Son restaurant. Our oldest son actually commented on the hotel decor (which he never does) which was modern and "design" without being pretentious. The location was great: we were looking for a hotel that would enable us to walk everywhere (we didn't rent a car) and we were able to get to restaurants and the historic district in minutes. We were also able to walk to the visitor's center to catch the shuttle to Tybee Island ($3 per person). The hotel breakfast was had a decent selection and the dining room was pleasant - the sheer curtain to divide the room are a nice touch. The only complaint we had was that there was only one hook in the bathroom to hang towels. While this was not a huge deal (and I would stay there again without hesitation) I couldn't help but wonder why they didn't put up a few more hooks or a towel bar. Still a great stay, however.

K_Alice_11,

Thank you for taking the time to review us! I'm so happy that your family enjoyed our location, design, and breakfast. We are aware of the issue with the lack of towel hooks in the bathrooms, and are actively working to address this. Hopefully, the next time that you visit us this will be corrected, and you can fully enjoy your stay! Thank you again for your comments, and we hope to see your family again very soon.

I was impressed with the spacious room and it's modern look and feel. Appropriately sized flat screen TV was on a swivel base so those in bed or in the living area could view easily. Room had a small refrigerator and microwave as well. Beds were very comfortable. The location in downtown Savannah is in close proximity (2 blocks) to the shops on Broughton Street. The most realistic option for parking is to use the valet service.
Staff were friendly at all service points. I especially appreciated the concierge who really helped travelers find tours and points of interest during their stay. The complimentary breakfast was traditional and well stocked.
If I had one suggestion...there were a few large spots on the carpet in our room from spills prior to our arrival. Either clean the carpet or replace the soiled tile.

Not sure why this place is only getting so-so reviews. This is a super-nice Spring Hill Suites in Savannah. The hotel is still very new. We stayed on the first floor and had a great room, lots of space, perfectly clean, modern furnishings. There was nothing to complain about with the room. There was a family reunion going on that weekend in the hotel and we never heard a sound from outside the room. You can walk a block or two to the market square, or a few blocks to River Street. The front desk was friendly and helpful to provide recommendations on dining and directions for walking from the hotel. We stayed using a free night from a Spring promotion but will definitely stay here again next time we are in Savannah (which is about 6 times each year)
