“Just what we wanted”
Reviewed 1 April 2013

We just stayed the 1 night and wanted a hotel easy to get to and handy for an afternoon/evening explore of Savannah. This was perfect.
We had requested a quiet room on a higher floor, which we were given. The room was spacious and very comfortable and clean.
Short walk to the river and perfect for exploring Savannah.
Staff very friendly and helpful.
We would come back.

This hotel was so clean.Very sleek and up beat. The staff was wonderful and kind.Best of all is the location, one block from city market and two blocks from river st. If you stay on the weekend you can park on the street for free, we did it it worked out well .We saved that 18.00 dallars .Please check your bill they charged us the 18 bucks. I went to the front desk and they fixed it right away. The hot breakfast was nice as well. all and all awsome stay we well be back soon.

This room was a lot bigger than we needed, but I appreciated the extra space. The staff was friendly and helpful. I had requested a "feather free" room, but that request hadn't been noted on the reservations. They took care of it immediately and all was well. The breakfast buffet was basic, but well stocked. The location was within walking distance to the civic center. All in all, a nice stay!

Could not hear any street noise, which was nice, as the street is close to the building.
We did not need Housekeeping, only towels, and they we delivered in the afternoon,
without us having to ask again for them.
The room was clean when we checked in, except that there were some hairs left in the shower,
which otherwise was perfectly clean and fresh. Seems like the housekeeper should wear a hairnet.
The only bad part was Breakfast. The eggs were powdery, tasted like nothing. They were not hot,
Neither were the Home Fries. The meats looked awful. I tried a bagel, and that was awful too.
I would recommend skipping the breakfast, go out and spend a little on a nice breakfast
somewhere, there are plenty of restaurants and cafe type places nearby.

This hotel was great! The rooms were huge and modern with a fridge and microwave which was great. The location was perfect because we wanted to be within walking distance to Broughton st, Bay st, and River st. The staff was great they were able to recommend a great place for breakfast called Henry's and it was delicious. As we were waiting for our car an employee that worked at the front desk came to find us outside to say that a lady who went in to clean our room found something we left. They came right down with it and met us outside with our items, I was extremely thankful! All in all we had a great stay and we go to Savannah quite often so I will be staying here again!

I came to Savannah for a conference, but was unable to get a room in the hotel that was hosting it, but I am glad I stayed here instead. By far one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in. The rooms are clean, fresh and spacious. The front desk is friendly and so willing to work with you. The pool was awesome in the spring time because it was just warm enough. It was within walking distance to most places. The breakfast is delicious and this house keeping was so good. I recommend this place to everyone. Comfiest bed I have every stayed in, and even the pull out couch wasn't that bad.

Room Tip: We were on the second floor over looking the pool and it worked pretty awesome for us.
