“Great Recommendation from the Locals”
Reviewed 10 August 2014

After a rather disappointing meal at another restaurant in the area, we checked this place out on the recommendation of a local. Our service was spectacular. Our food and drinks were delicious. Across the table we had: duck wings, jalapeno wings, ruben on rye, and chicken fingers. The homemade chips are delicious as well. My husband's culinary experience tends to make us highly critical diners, and everything was spot on. We also ordered the banana egg roll to go, for dessert, and it too, was impressive. I had the Tybee Sunset and a Nuts and Berries drink, and those were quite enjoyable as well.

This will definitely be an annual stop on our Savannah vacation.

We ate the she crab soup at two other restaurants, The Old Pink House and Rocks on the River. And they were delicious but we thought the best was here!!!

“Great food, should be higher on the TA list!”
Reviewed 7 August 2014

We ended up here by accident, actually, we did not want to wait in the very long line at Mrs. Wilkes, so we ended up here, just a few short blocks away and could not have been happier. Wife had a gyro, I hand a big burger, the kids loved their kids meal choices. Great food, great portions, reasonable prices. When there read the history on the walls, the early pictures and stories are fascinating.

“Best meal in Savannah”
Reviewed 6 August 2014

A fantastic place : old pictures on the walls, booths, a long wooden bar and the food is great : the chicken wings weren't deep fried but grilled and lightly fried, the burger was excellent, everything so fresh. Our daughter had the spaghetti meatballs on the kids menu : they were great !! And do try the peach cobbler, to die for !!! Friendly family atmosphere, excellent service, most of the customers were coming for ages. Great great restaurant.
