There is nothing bad to say about this hotel. It is new, and I hope that they continue to do whatever they are doing, because it works. The front desk staff, the breakfast staff and like the other reviewer said the GM was awesome, cordial, and present. The rooms aren't like other Embassy's we've stayed at but the change wasn't a problem. Families will love the room set up...more privacy for parents while still having the kids close by. Contemporary design without a stuffy-don't-touch feeling. The food at breakfast was abundant in choices and tasty as well. A little bit of a wait to get seated, but I'm sure it is all about timing. We liked that it is such a short convenient drive into downtown Savannah without the chaos of staying in town. I recommend it to those who want a clean, beautiful and relaxing place to stay.***We also liked that though there were young children like ours, they weren't aloud to just run wild and disturb other guests, unlike some hotels we've stayed at.

Absolutely LOVED our stay (3 nights). The hotel is brand new and decorated nicely, very modern, great colors. The rooms are very spacious, the beds are very comfortable. The breakfast was great, the staff were VERY courteous, gave excellent directions to downtown Savannah, Tybee Beach, etc. I will DEFINITELY come back for another visit. Thanks to all the staff!!!

Savannah is our half-way point on the way to/from Orlando. We were pleasantly surprised to see this brand new one on the south side of Savannah. This hotel features modern amenities, and fabulously soft bedding. We were looking for a quiet room, with comfortable bedding, and we were not disappointed. We were in room 428 (the last room on the end of the hall), and we did not hear anything. Even though our room faced I-95, we did not hear the traffic. This room was smaller than what you typically find in an Embassy Suites, but the bath was extra large. (I think the room was designed to be handicapped accessible, since it had a large walk in shower, with no tub). The staff were above average in customer service skills. The breakfast was average, as compared to other Embassy Suites. Cooked to order omelettes were available, unlike at some of the larger Embassy Suites that have converted to a full buffet.

We stayed here a night on the way to Orlando with our two kids. We had not stayed at an Embassy suites hotel before so weren't sure what to expect though we suspected a Homewood suites/Doubletree type ambiance. We were very surprised to find a brand spanking new hotel, complete with a water feature and other amenities, load of space, great accommodations and most importantly welcoming staff. The breakfast was excellent! Not the usual rush to pick up your snacks but much more like a sit down restaurant. All the staff were extremely gracious and we would especially like to mention Gautham Shetty the general manager who was absolutely on the spot! He was clearly visible on the Saturday we stayed there, very hands on and an absolute star when we called up later to sort out an issue we had due to a mistake on our part. Way to go! We will definitely stop here once again on the way back! Thanks to all the staff and Gautham!

Brand new ES ... and an ultra modern one at that. Gone at this location is the typical open atrium - the manager's reception and breakfast area are just off the lobby. Gone also is the typical on-site restaurant, replaced by a limited "to-go" style area with a few menu choices for room service.

The rooms are also a bit different than the typical ES ... where they are set up horizontally v. vertically (the bathroom and bedroom are off to the side - not straight into the back of the room) which made it nice since I could access the bathroom without having to disturb my kids in the other room. I'd say though that the square footage is probably a good amount less than most ES I have stopped at, but it is efficient use of space. Bed was comfy as always, and, finally, free wireless!

Manager's Reception was great (located at the pay bar, another change) though the snacks a bit limited, and the Breakfast was great, too, though a bit slow. There's no buffet - you have to order everything hot from the grill. Again, that's great, but it does take a bit longer than usual. Staff was fantastic and super friendly.

Pool looked nice and the fitness center had tons of equipment.

Only issue ... and consider it a small one since the place just opened ... the food I ordered for room service was delivered lukewarm. If I hadn't driven for a long time I would have skipped ordering, but what we did get was so-so at best. We figured it wouldn't be great without a full-service restaurant on-site, so we got what we expected. I just wish it was hotter.

All in all, an excellent stay and the staff was fantastic. Almost zero hiccups - and the place just opened? Whoever trained the folks should get a pat on the back! We'd stay again ...
