Owner description: Enjoy Savannah on foot and from a native's perspective! No gimmicks, costumes, or schtick- just a guide who knows her stuff. Bonnie will show you how to be more than a tourist by helping you discover there's more to Savannah. Book in advance if you would like to join your fellow travelers on one of Bonnie's public tours. Group sizes are limited so you won't get lost in the crowd. Cover all the basics after breakfast and before lunch on the Slo-vannah Saunter. Or you could wait until the late afternoon for a sophisticated and slightly lubricated experience with drinks in hand on Lightly Sauced- Raise a Glass to History. Bonnie also loves private bookings and is available at your convenience. She can customize a tour to your interests across a variety of subjects from a general historical overview, to Black history, women's history, the Civil War, the Revolution, a little bit of architecture, etc. The guide comes to you and you even get to choose how long the tour lasts. Often available on short notice. Go ahead and call!

This was our first Ghost Tour and it was wonderful. We had several young children and she interacted with them so well. They asked questions and she was able to answer every question. Great knowledge of local history and folklore. Would highly recommended to others.

“Awesome ghost tour!”
Reviewed 9 June 2014

After reading tons of reviews on different ghost tours, we decided to choose Bonnie and we are so glad we did! We had family in town from Alabama and she was happy to accommodate our group with a private tour. Her story telling skills were amazing and her stories were rich with history and spookiness! We had a group of young and old and she kept everyone interested and intrigued the entire time. When booking, I was worried that the smaller kids would lose interest and get tired, but they loved it and we were all sad to see it end. My husband and I are locals, but we enjoyed it so much, we plan to come back for another tour with Bonnie.

“Highly recommend”
Reviewed 6 June 2014

We went on Bonnie's Lightly Sauced historic tour and it was very informative and every place had great drinks as well. Bonnie did a great job picking more historical bars/pubs and the people we met in them we super nice. Would highly recommend!

“Learned a lot and had a great time!”
Reviewed 30 May 2014

Bonnie offers a highly customized tour at a great rate. I highly recommend her.

I requested a 1.5 hour history focused tour that included the African American experience for my boyfriend and me. Bonnie exceeded all of my expectations! She really took my request to my heart. I especially appreciated the way Bonnie highlighted the hidden histories of Savannah. She pointed out the places that have no monuments or plaques but are important nonetheless. Early in the tour she showed us where the home of Aspasia Cruvellier, a free black women and business person in Antebellum Savannah, once stood. Bonnie also shared the dark history of the Montmollin building in City Market. My boyfriend and I had lots of questions and Bonnie answered all of them.

“Great tour!”

Great tour, but bring your bug spray! The mosquito bites were distracting. However, Bonnie was great, a good balance of history, humor, and hauntings!

Thanks for the nice review, in spite of the bugs! Everyone will learn to be a crazy lady like me, eventually, and wear pants in the summertime!
